Here is the final animation for my short film. I still have a shot to add, light and render it all. Maybe when I get a free moment....

Here's what the short film looks like after a couple of passes smoothing out the motion, easing in each of the poses. There are still a couple of passes of polishing still needed and some minor adjustments to the animation. There is a pretty solid feel to the animation at this point and the overall flow of the short is completed. I still might add an intro scene with the computer box on the front step and the character opens the door with curiosity and excitement and brings the box into the house.

Next comes the animation. When you block out the animation it looks very rough, but the poses/timing is easier to adjust with the animation blocked out. The short is starting to transform and you should be able to tell the overall feel to the short.

After getting the animatic complete I built the props and environment. All the components of the computer and office. I planned out the camera based on the animatic and you'll see that I made some adjustments. This will give a better sense of timing for the next phase: blocking out the animation.

This pass is what I did after I completed the storyboards, I put them together with a sense of timing to better get an idea of how it all fits together. I probably could have done more drawings....

Here is the first step in my short film. After I narrowed down from my three original ideas, my Mentor and I thought this would be the most feasible story that I could actually finish in the time allotted. Sorry for the poor quality, but you get the idea.
